Hattersley valves have been specified to control the HVAC systems as part of the construction programme for a new divisional police headquaters in central Middlesborough.
The new HQ is part of a massive £24 million PFI development for Cleveland Police that includes construction of a further divisional headquarters and two new police stations undertaken by M&E specialists Crown House Technologies and contractors Laing O'Rourke Northern.
The Middlesborough headquarters building is the largest within the whole project, it is 8000 sq. m. on three floors and will house 50 detention cells.
The Hattersley valves, specified for their high-performance and reliability, are used exclusively throughout the new building to control all the LTHW and chilled water systems. The valve types comprise commissioning sets, ball, butterfly and metrex valves and strainers.
