There was a fantastic turnout of consultants and contractors for the Hattersley and Leminar Air Conditioning technical seminars in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in May.
Over 600 people attended the seminars, which focused on the heritage of Hattersley valves and the future of the HVAC industry, including Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Public Health.
Speaking at the seminar, Navin Valrani, Leminar CEO, said: “Hattersley is one of Leminar’s more recent brands but is an integral part of our product offering. We are extremely excited to be associated with a brand such as Hattersley and an organization such as Crane. Our shared values will provide a key foundation for the success of this partnership.”
Hattersley was one of the first value manufacturers to offer a comprehensive BIM library and Rod Klompe, Business Line Manager for Hattersley, introduced to the delegates how the BIM Methodology will change the way the HVAC industry will work.
Rod Klompe gave a presentation on Public Health and the risks of Legionella in domestic hot water systems, and how Hattersley is helping contractors protect against it with a full Public Health range.
The installation of Hattersley Thermal Circulation Valves (TCVs) into hot water systems ensures the water is maintained at a temperature that Legionella cannot survive in. Hattersley’s new TCV range aids self-balancing and thermostatically controlled regulation of water flow and thermal disinfection which also reduces commissioning time, and therefore cost.
The seminars were held at the Le Meridian Airport Hotel in Dubai and the Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Hattersley was represented by Mark Youssef, Crane Co. President for MEA, David Pye, VP Sales, Jason Eastwood, VP Sales Emerging Markets, Ryan Pickard, Regional Sales Manager and Rod Klompe, Business Line Manager. Navin Valrani, CEO, and Pramodh Idicheria, General Manager, represented Leminar.
Leminar Air Conditioning is the channel partner for Hattersley in the United Arab Emirates and the State of Qatar.
